Founded in 1966, Ed Ahead, Inc. has a long history of evolving to meet the educational needs of our communities. For the past 16 years, our focus has been on supporting children in educational settings, ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to grow, achieve, and thrive.

Our President and CEO, John “Jack” Penczar, has dedicated his career to education since 1968. With experience teaching across all grade levels (K–12 and university) and serving in various educational capacities, Jack brings decades of expertise and passion to our mission. While no longer in the classroom, he continues to guide the field through consulting and leadership at Ed Ahead, Inc.

In addition, Ed Ahead, Inc. supports professionals who work with children by offering mini-grants that enable them to create new opportunities, improve programs, and better serve young learners. Together, we are building a brighter future—one child at a time.
